“In Her heart To Do”

She did not trust him, and it was right that she didn’t. Nor did she judge him. In fact, she gave him many opportunities to be fair with her. However, news came to her unbidden from random sources letting her know she was right not to trust him. It was no longer in her nature to remain silent while sensing this awkward truth. She did what was in her heart to do. She brought it out in the open. It began by asking him, “Do you have a war going on inside of you?” l

He said, “No why?” She watched his body language take on a defensive posture.

She replied, “There is a great duality within you. A battle between light and dark or you could say between doing what is right or not. You say one thing and do another. You take what is not yours to take and lie about it.”

He snapped back,” Who have you been talking to?”

She laughed inside because he did not deny it; he just wanted to know who was going to get his wrath.

She replied, “Never mind that. I would like to share a thing or two with you. Do you have a minute?

“Only a minute, time is money so don’t waste mine.”

“If I speak out of both sides of my mouth or say one thing and mean something else, the internal conflict will weaken and eventually erode my sense of self. That is what is happening to you. How can you stand unwavering in what you believe or shift your point of view when discovering you are wrong if you don’t even know what is true?”

“Everyone is spinning a story to their advantage. It’s just business.”

“If that’s just business it is not good business. For the record, I say what I mean and I do not take what is not mine to take. That includes credit for work done. You do. I lived in fear for many years just like you. Afraid of not being good enough or not having enough.”

He puffs up his chest raising his voice to say, “I’m not afraid of anything. Your mumbo jumbo talk doesn’t interest me in the least.”

She wanted to help him understand how he was pushing people away and hoped he might be just a little bit open minded. Some new insights could give him a nudge to shift his outlook and then, in time, his reality. Seems as though no one ever called him out on his crap, but now that she was, she felt his volcanic energy just waiting to explode.

Since he hadn’t stormed off yet she continued, “Thoughts and feelings in direct conflict with the universal flow of love and kindness will not bring you what you want just more of what you don’t want.

He became more agitated by what she said and replied, “That is easy for you to say. You don’t have my problems.”

She suspected that what she was about to share next wouldn’t land well but it was in heart to do so she continued.

“No, I have challenges of my own, we all do. I handle them differently today than I did a few years ago. Please hear me out. The Cosmic flow of the universe always provides a vibrational match. We choose our thoughts and will create a good life or block the flow preventing us from receiving what we need when we need it. The universe is responding to vibration.

He simply replied, “What the hell are you talking about?”

” Anger, complaining, depression, bullying and so forth block the flow of abundance and health necessary to live a good life.”

Bringing this conversation to an end she said. “My challenges and heartaches brought me closer to understanding the part I played in creating my life. Like I mentioned, we are experiencing a vibrational match. Think about what that means to you. And ask yourself if you can create a better day-to-day life that brings joy not only to you but the people around you.”

He grumbled under his breath and walked away shaking his head saying, “mumbo jumbo bullshit.”

She could see clearly that this place would never allow her to grow like she wanted. The others were too afraid to stand up to him and talked to each other behind his back. More low vibrational energy she wanted no part of. She hadn’t been there long but in her mind it was long enough.

She had gotten good at listening to the whispers of her heart. Opportunities awaited elsewhere and it was time for her to discover them and move on. Life is an adventure after all.

The moral of the story:

Plant a seed when and where you can, no judgement.  Some people and places are in our life for a reason not a lifetime and maybe not even a season. You might not understand the impact you have on another when you do what is in your heart to do. You may not see what becomes of it and that is all right. Do what is in your heart to do and let go. The rest is not up to you. Sometimes, beyond the inspired action, it is just not your business. Don’t make it your mission to save everyone. Do what is in your heart to do, let go and carry on.

What is your business is the tending of your own garden. Do not forsake the tending of your garden.
