Change is happening
I have been writing, blogging, in the Conscious Mastery® website for 15 years or so. I was consistent until I was not. The first posts were the best I could do and not that great. Then I began to learn and do it the right way according to so many experts. Focus on the title, key words, number of words, length of sentencing, proper number of repeating the key phrase and on it went. I did understand the mission as it were. The process was to get attention from google to set the published post in front of “eyeballs” also known as readers such as yourself. All this attention to detail was to get views, broaden my audience, subscribers, and give wings to my message, book, and courses. That all makes sense.
This is an effective way to do it but for me it took away all the joy of writing. Now I am going to do it my way. Google will not like it. I may not have any new readers but then again maybe this honest approach will find its way to others organically.
I have known for sometime that my very difficult life was to learn to rise from the ashes with love still beating my heart. Of course it was not at all clear while I was trudging through hell but as the majority of my choices were based in love I continued to rise and with that I began to hear the whispers of my heart. At one point it became clear I was also meant to share what I learned through the grit of experience. Now on to the change in format.
There will be three different titles.
1) Once upon a time
2) I Remember when
3) Journal.
A number will follow titles 1 and 2. As an example, Once upon a time #1. Whereas the Journal will show a date. As an example, Journal May 23 2026. This way if you want to return to a post or an article, you will be able to find it.
Once upon a time:
These posts will have veins of truth with the freedom for creative liberty to embellish and tell a story.
I Remember When:
These posts will be recalling events in my life with no embellishment. Just raw truth as I know it to be. Reflection provides good reminders that all events in life offer an opportunity to learn, grow, and remember small victories.
Journal:
The posts in this area will be my current thoughts, experiences and what is happening. I will not bore you with what I ate for breakfast. I will share what projects I am working on, meaningful thoughts that arrive, poetry, video and what it might be like to work through some of the challenges of being a human being, mother, wife and a creative.
As I mentioned, I will introduce video in some of these posts. It will be random, but I am ready to share in that way as well. Here is to being as transparent as an introvert can be. I say to myself, “You go girl!” Cause that is what I would say to anyone else stepping out of the comfort zone and out on to a limb ready to take flight.
If you are interested and willing to flow with me on this journey I hope to delight and surprise you with honesty and teachable moments from a long life well lived.
